A bit ABOUT ME & MY WORK
To photograph people you need to care about them, their story, their memories.
Hi, I'm Albena and I love people as they are, when they are together. The way they look at each other, hug, laugh, share a moment. Sometimes it’s around a special occasion - a wedding, a birthday, an expecting family. Other times, it’s simply at home - in their everyday rhythm, in their quiet, natural togetherness. In those ordinary days that tomorrow will already turn into memories.
My connection to photography began in childhood. My mother used to take photos often and print them on paper. We would sit together, looking through them, laughing, reliving those moments. We still do that today - those pictures bring us together, remind us, connect us. That’s how I learned to recognize the moments worth capturing. To observe. To feel.
For me, the most precious thing about photography is sensitivity - to the person in front of the camera, to their emotions, to the way they see the world.
When we’re together, I’m not just taking photos - I’m fully there with you, excited and immersed in the moment. I give you space to be yourselves, and you offer the same in return. I guide you just enough to help you feel comfortable, but never so much that the images lose their authenticity. We don’t follow templates, we let the moment unfold naturally. And as time passes, the memories we capture only grow more precious.
Outdoor weddings have a special place in my heart - they bring a sense of freedom, as if the whole day unfolds a little more lightly and naturally. On the beach, in the backyard of a countryside house, or simply wherever you feel most like yourselves. And yet, to me, it doesn’t really matter whether you’re celebrating in a luxurious hotel or barefoot on the grass in your own backyard:
As long as you’re having fun.
As long as you’re together.
As long as you’re truly present in your own day.
I’ll tell the rest through photographs.
